EVERYTHING BUT THE CAKE
A birthday-party-in-a-box is like a unicorn: too good to be true. Or that’s what we thought until we spied these to-die-for packages.
Today begins a series of the most amazing kids parties from Fire&Creme and photographed by the talented Sophie Jacobson of Love Bucket Photo. Over the next few weeks we will be featuring a total of THREE perfectly designed and decorated kids parties.
Fire & Creme Kids is awesome because you can buy one of their party boxes and it comes with all the goodies you need to throw your own extravagant party. You can buy either tableware, decorations or goodie bags or if you want the full experience you can purchase all three. The theme of today’s feature is little fairies in the woods…not just inspiration but you can actually do this exact perfect party.
Continuing on our adventure through Fire and Creme’s amazing Party Boxes, I wanted to share with you my very favorite. By now you know that I am basically obsessed with all things Native American, so it's no surprise that the Into the West box is, for me, the one that takes the cake!
For Tanner's 2nd Birthday, we threw him a Cowboys and Indians-themed party, which was super cute and tons of fun. But I have to say, Peggy's inspired take on this aesthetic – which pairs traditional ethnic details with pops of neon – is beyond playful and beyond gorgeous.
From the tepees to the headdresses, I simply cannot get enough. As always, she offers the most incredible props and furniture for rent or sale, exquisite hand-made costumes, and her fabulous vendors, who provide services from make-up to catering, and everything in between. I suppose it would be strange to request this theme for my next big Birthday party. XXJKE
You guys know I love the dipped trend--so obviously, I'm a big fan of these half-painted feathers! They're even cuter mixed with yarn pom poms and hanging on a garland, don't you think?
UNPACK A PERFECT PARTY
A birthday-party-in-a-box sounds too good to be true. Or so we thought until we spied Fire and Creme’s to-die-for pre-packaged tableware, decorations, and goodie bags organized around chic, imaginative themes. Owner Peggy North, a film industry vet, gave us the scoop on her inspiration and how to re-create the pinnable parties shown here.

Have you guys heard of Fire & Creme Kids? They’re a local Venice spot creating and renting amazing birthday party ideas and packages to families in our community. Their shop is amazing, with tons of cute props, handmade favors and decor, and loads of great inspiration. And even if you don’t live in LA, you can shop online for some of their unique party favors and decor ideas.
Their concept is kind of awesome. You can buy themed decor, tableware, and goodie bags – or all three as a package. Plus you can rent neat kid-sized furniture that fits in with each theme.
Here’s a peek at a few of their party themes:

"My French friend Ambre always knows all the cutest kids sites and stores, so when she told me that her friend Peggy North had just opened a great new kids store on Lincoln in Venice, I ran! Peggy, also a beautiful Parisian, now lives in Venice with her husband and two stunning sons, and has created a gem for all stylish mothers. Fire and Creme is a little slice of heaven located a block from General Store. In it, she carries all things chic for our little ones – from the most insane costumes for dress up, to adorable baskets that she personalizes herself, to amazing customized cow skulls and irresistable toys and décor."
